Sheryl is 10 Now!

My niece, Sheryl, turned 10 last Tuesday, the 14th. The picture above was taken on the evening of her birthday, while waiting for the carollers to arrive. Sheryl has been joining Christmas Carolling for a couple of years now, and she loves it.

Her mum bought her new pair of glasses...the one that she wore in the picture. Alvin and I bought her some cute clips for her pink crocs and she was giggling in delight when she got them. Maybe we'll get her some more for Xmas, plus our other gifts for her.  I also made her the birthday card above from some left over scrap papers and an old die cut birthday embellishment which I have kept for quite some time.

This also struck our minds at home of how fast she has grown. And it freaked me at how fast I have gotten older! Heck..I freaked myself all the time when it comes to birthdays. Except when that other fella is older than me! Haha!
