Taman Selera = Appetite Park???

Hahaha! After having been there for many a times for picnics, dinner, lunch (once), and lepaking sessions, it only came to me now about the name of the place. Yes, although after the direct translation, they do relate to each other. Some names can mean something totally different after a translation....amazing isn't it? Hehe...

So we went to Taman Selera for dinner one Friday evening before my parents left for Kuching. We invited Evonne and Victoria but only Evonne could make it as Vic was feeling rather sick...poor thing..hmm. Anyways, dinner was great, Baby X was behaving so well, we were having fun till the waitresses started piling up the plastic chairs (sign of closing up soon)...what?!...at just 9pm on a weekend?! Come on la...! The weirdest thing was, it seems that we were the only people who were disturbed and disappointed by this. I mean, it's weekend for goodness sake, so they should at least close up shop by 12midnight the latest. They don't want money ka? So rich oredy ka? Well...ridiculous as it is, we left hesitantly by 9:10pm. A lepak session for coffee would be lovely but it wouldn't be good for Baby X, so we said goodbye and goodnite to Evonne and headed home. Bowrrriiiinnnnngggggg!
