Project 365 - Week 13

My week 13 was focused on the event of remembering my late Uncle James after 40 days of his passing.  We had it on Wed, 21st of March.  Aunty Ida invited us for a group prayer and dinner gathering that evening.

Everyone was still puzzled and shocked over his death but we also believed that it was for the best because he was going to suffer if he would have lived on anyway.  God and His plans are always based on His love for us, so one day we will be able to know and understand His reasons for all these.

Families and friends gathered around during Fr. Donald's short sharing after the prayer session.

The weekend after the gathering I made a card ordered by one of my colleague for the Full Moon occassion of another colleague's baby girl.  In the Chinese customs, a Full Moon occassion is the celebration of 30 days after a baby is born.

The sadness of remembering the dead mixed with the feeling of thanksgiving for a new born.  Can you articulate that?
